Recently startbreakdance.com was working on a project in co-operation with an agency which also incorporates a modern dancing school. The project was brilliant to attract anyone who wants to start learning Breakdance for free; with 2 free lessons.
The classes were scheduled to start in October,2009 in the following places:
Mellieha,
Marsascala,
Birkirkara
Rabat Gozo
Paceville StJulians
At the time startbreakdance.com was offering 3 free lessons
for anyone who joins the classes any day of the year. So it was easy to adapt to 2 free lessons. http://www.startbreakdance.com/2freelessons for anyone who starts in October,2009!
Start Breakdance powered by Mainstream was also going to offer a very fruitful activity for all students, on every Friday night one could practice on parquet for free!! For some reason or another the agency then dropped this activity prior to it's launch!
The agency also stated that fliers will be distributed in the following Primary Schools:
Mellieha,
SanPawl il-Bahar,
Birkirkara,
Naxxar,
Hamrun,
Mosta,
Paola,
Victoria,
Mqabba,
Hal-Safi,
Siggiewi
and the following Secondary Schools:
Birkirkara,
Bormla,
Hal-Qormi,
Hamrun,
Mosta
between 28th September - 9th October,2009
Promotion through facebook, hi5 and e-mail shots was also stated to start from the agency between 20th-30thSeptember, 2009
A 10 seconds promotional video was also prepared for Gallarija Cinemas Fgura and started showing on the 7th of October,2009.
For some reason the agency wanted to freeze the project and then suggested to collapse all the lessons into one location, Birkirkara. startbreakdance.com had already suggested this before so it was agreed to start the first lesson on the 12th October 2009.
Interestingly enough no one appeared at the first lesson, the agency was approached by one telephone call and startbreakdance.com was approached directly with 4 different e-mails; asking about Paceville lessons and stating they will start the week after.
How could it be possible that no one came? Was the promotion really distributed in the stated primary and secondary schools?
So what is happening NOW with startbreakdance.com classes?
The agency has dropped the project immediately after 12th October,2009!
